Trevor commenced a cadetship with Ministry of Works in 1972, working on a diverse range of building projects for government clients, including Ministries of Education, Justice, Defence, Agriculture and Research. In 1998 he set up his own consultancy business, providing quantity-surveying services to the construction industry.
In 2000, he moved to the contracting environment to manage a medium sized plumbing contractor, where he was subsequently offered a shareholding / directorship. In 2008 he re-established his own consulting business, providing estimating and contract administration services for specialist painting and plumbing sub contractors.

Dawn has 12 years experience as a quantity surveyor, including 3 years overseas working in the Middle East and Australia. She has worked for both consultancy quantity surveying firms and contractors, with a wide range of project experience in the retail, commercial, education, and infrastructure sectors. Dawn is degree qualified, a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and actively involved in the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
She enjoys mentoring and helping quantity surveyors entering the construction industry and is committed to providing quality work and service to the client.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Kyawt (Jo Jo) recently graduated from Unitec with a National Diploma of Quantity Surveying. She has joined Alexander and Co Ltd as a graduate Quantity Surveyor to learn new skills and further develop her experience in Quantity Surveying. It has always been her aspiration to work in the construction industry, especially in contributing to the development of sustainable and healthy homes and buildings.
She is currently assisting with measuring, estimating the construction costs, provisional and progress payments, costs to complete and cash flows for the projects.
